Diocesan Social Service Society, Imphal (DSSS) is the development wing of the Archdiocese of Imphal, registered in 1991 under the Societies Registration Act. It runs technical and vocational training, promotes farming, horticulture and pisciculture, provides charitable relief during emergencies, and trains grassroots development workers across Manipur. Its programmes focus on the poor and marginalised, youth, women and village leaders, tackling poverty, illiteracy and disease while running literacy circles and disaster-relief distributions such as CRS-supported flood relief.
