Ajagar Social Circle
Builds sustainable livelihoods and resilience with vulnerable communities in Northeast India
From Agia in Assam's Goalpara district, Ajagar Social Circle partners with vulnerable communities across Northeast India on livelihoods, teaching improved farming methods and practical skills that have measurably raised household incomes on and off the farm. It also promotes farmer producer organisations and self-help groups, restores degraded land, runs the Ajagar Valley Academy, and provides relief and rehabilitation after disasters.
