Agni Rural Welfare Society is a West Bengal nonprofit, based in South 24 Parganas near Kolkata, founded in 2008 and active in disaster response since Cyclone Aila hit the Sundarbans in 2009. It runs drill, physical-training and disaster-management coaching (including preparation for defence-service exams) alongside welfare distribution of clothes, notebooks and other school supplies to underprivileged children across Sundarbans villages, plus post-disaster relief in South 24 Parganas, Midnapore, Darjeeling and Kalimpong.
