Calcutta Foundation is a Kolkata-based non-profit founded in 1994 by Shamlu Dudeja, known for her earlier work reviving kantha embroidery through SHE (Self Help Enterprise). The foundation runs Apni Kutir, a national network of women's empowerment hubs combining vocational and professional skilling with health and community-engagement services, now spanning 23 Kutirs across five states.
