Aarambh India, founded in 2012 by Uma Subramanian, works on the prevention of child sexual abuse and exploitation, running India's first online resource centre on the subject and, since a 2016 partnership with the Internet Watch Foundation, its first hotline for reporting child sexual abuse material online. Based in Mumbai, it also trains stakeholders on implementing the POCSO Act and supports victim care and research.
