ADAPT (Able Disable All People Together), founded by Dr Mithu Alur in Mumbai in 1972 as The Spastics Society of India, works for a disability-friendly India through education, skills training and inclusion. It runs schools and service centres offering speech therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy alongside vocational and livelihood support for people with disabilities.
