AAs (Aim for the Awareness of Society), known as AAS, is an Indore-based nonprofit founded in 2005 by seven young volunteers to work on community awareness campaigns. It began with HIV/AIDS, drug de-addiction, blood donation and sanitation outreach, and has since shifted focus to child protection, adolescent and youth empowerment, girls' education and women's empowerment in coordination with Indore's police, municipal corporation and the state Women and Child Development Department. Its name means 'hope' in Hindi.
