Bal Niketan Sangh, founded in Indore in 1947 and long guided by Padma Shri awardee Shalini Tai Moghe, is one of Madhya Pradesh's oldest child welfare institutions. It has provided orphan care, foster support, early childhood education and value-based schooling to generations of Indore children through its Bal Niketan schools and homes, and continues to host cultural, sports and Sanskrit education programmes on its historic campus.
