Gramya Vikash Mancha (GVM) was registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 in September 2000 in Guwahati and works across rural Assam from Nalbari. Its programmes cover drinking water and arsenic mitigation, integrated farming, handloom-based women's livelihoods and community institutions. Its supporting agencies have included the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, UNICEF, NABARD and NEDFi.
