Registered in 1965 and promoted by the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly, Welfare Services Ernakulam — known as Sahrudaya — is one of Kerala's largest church-linked social service societies. Its work spans community health, community-based rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, microfinance and self-help groups, housing, migrant worker studies, Railway Childline and disaster response, delivered through institutions like Wesco Credit, an Ayurveda hospital and rehabilitation centres.
