Madras Social Service Society (MSSS) is the official social-work organ of the Archdiocese of Madras-Mylapore, registered on 3 July 1969 and based in Chennai. It works across Chennai and Tiruvallur districts through a food-aid programme, emergency relief projects, a child-development programme, community health and mother-and-child health education, and food-for-work schemes. Its core constituencies include fishing communities, slum residents, women and children, and persons with disabilities and incurable diseases.
