Lha Charitable Trust is a grassroots non-profit founded in 1997 in Dharamshala and registered as a charitable trust with the Indian government in 2005. It is one of the largest Tibetan social work institutes in India, providing education, healthcare, employment and housing support to Tibetan refugees, the local Indian population and people from the Himalayan regions. It runs language classes, a soup kitchen and vocational programmes in McLeod Ganj.
