Tong-Len Charitable Trust was registered in December 2004 with a vision to help destitute Indian children living in slum settlements near Dharamshala gain access to education. It runs a school, hostels and health programmes for children from these communities, and has since added vocational training approved by the National Skill Development Corporation. Supporting entities have been registered in the UK and France to fund its work in India.
