Cashpor Micro Credit is a Varanasi-headquartered, not-for-profit Section 8 company, founded in 2002, that identifies and lends to below-poverty-line women in rural areas through collateral-free Joint Liability Groups. Alongside sustainable-livelihood financing, it runs affordable health clinics and remedial-education centres for borrowers' children across Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar and Odisha.
