Bro Siga Animation Centre (BSAC) was founded in 1984 in Vyasarpadi, North Chennai, by a group of young men inspired by Salesian priest Bro. Sigamani, after whom it is named. It works to transform the lives of slum dwellers and the rural poor through education and literacy, vocational skill development and youth leadership training, child protection, and women's empowerment, with a particular focus on tribal welfare and urban poverty alleviation in and around Vyasarpadi.
