Rights-based development work with Adivasi and Dalit communities in Odisha's Koraput region.
SPREAD is a voluntary society registered in September 1989 that works with tribal, Dalit and other marginalised communities in Koraput district and the wider KBK region of Odisha. Its programmes cover nutrition, food security, livelihood security, right to education, land rights and governance, delivered through village-level people's organisations. The organisation is known for community-led social audits of government welfare schemes such as ICDS, PDS, MGNREGA and the Mid-Day Meal scheme.
