HEARDS (Health Education Adoption Rehabilitation Development Society) is a registered society (Reg. No. 363/99), founded in 1999 and headquartered in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, working across Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Its programmes span education and child rights (including rescuing and rehabilitating child labourers), water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), healthcare, sustainable livelihoods, housing and environmental protection, with a particular focus on Dalit women's empowerment and tribal development. The society takes a community-driven approach, working to keep children in school, install clean-water systems, and support women's micro-enterprises at the grassroots level.
