Founded in 2014 by Nazim Khan, himself a polio survivor, the Garden Reach Institute runs from a small facility in one of Kolkata's most under-served neighbourhoods, offering physiotherapy, special education and speech therapy to children with disabilities. It also helps place young adults with disabilities into jobs once they finish its programmes.
