EDUCATR (Education Communication and Development Trust) is a Madurai, Tamil Nadu-based nonprofit founded in 1997 by socially committed young people, working for the welfare of poor and marginalised women and children across 150 villages and 72 panchayats. Its programmes span education, health, water, agriculture, legal aid, disability support and livelihoods, including 545 women's self-help groups offering thrift, credit and microcredit training, and campaigns against female infanticide, feticide and child labour.
