The Association for Social Health in India (ASHI) is a voluntary organisation registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 and describes itself as one of the oldest voluntary organisations in the country. It runs protective homes, counselling centres and working women's hostels, and works on the rehabilitation of women and girls rescued from trafficking and exploitation.
