Sree Subramania Ayurvedic Trust

The Thekkayil family's Ayurvedic nursing home in Kozhikode carries a long tradition of treating the poor without charge: check-ups are free, Fridays are set aside for financially weak patients, and treatment costs are waived for those below the poverty line. The trust extends this care to rural patients regardless of caste or creed.

Sree Subramania Ayurvedic Trust reports the following, on its own site:

  • Back Pain — We have cured more than 37000 cases in the past 10 years
  • Hair fall — We have cured more than 24000 cases in the past 10 years
  • Cervical spondylosis — We have cured more than 17000 cases in the past 10 years
  • Rheumatoid arthritis — We have cured more than 12000 cases in the past 10 years
