Karl Sequeira is the founder of Freedom Foundation (1992)[1], an Indian non-profit working on healthcare from Bengaluru.

Freedom Foundation set up India's first comprehensive community-based care and support centre for people living with HIV/AIDS, and now runs dozens of such centres across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Goa and Maharashtra. Headquartered in Bengaluru, it combines medical support with counselling, nutrition and livelihood assistance for people affected by HIV and substance dependence.
