Thozhi, a Tamil word for female friendship, is a collective of women workers in the organised sector across 15 districts of Tamil Nadu, active since 2014. It networks NGOs supporting women employed in district industries such as shoe, match, textile, garment, cashew and rice mills, working towards violence-free workplaces and stronger civil society organisations, with a stated aim of strengthening 100 organisations in the state.
