The Forest Way

Each year with the monsoon rains The Forest Way plants around 15,000 young trees on the slopes of Arunachala at Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, drawn from a selection of more than 70 indigenous species.

The Forest Way raises tens of thousands of saplings each year at its native-plant nursery in Tiruvannamalai from over 100 indigenous species, with many going to the slopes of Arunachala and free trees given to any local school that requests them.
