Founded in Mumbai in 1908 to give oppressed women shelter, care and a life of dignity, Seva Sadan Society has spent over a century breaking cycles of poverty through its residential home for girls, English and Marathi schools, skill development programmes and the Pandita Ramabai Navrange Teachers' Training College (established 1914). Its heritage Malabari Hall building in Gamdevi won a UNESCO Asia-Pacific Award of Merit for cultural heritage conservation in 2020.
