Sahabhagi Samaj Sevi Sanstha was registered on 4 May 2002 under the Chhattisgarh Society Registration Act, with its office at Charama in Kanker district under president Basant Yadav and secretary Kalawati Kashyap. The organisation works to build self-help groups and farmers' clubs that strengthen household income, runs capacity-building and vocational skills training, and supports the functioning of local Panchayati Raj governance structures. It also works on food security initiatives for rural households in the district. Sahabhagi holds 12A and 80G income-tax status and FCRA approval, and describes its vision as a society free of exploitation and discrimination, with full access to education and health services.
