Rights Education and Development Centre (READ)

READ works with communities on the margins of western Tamil Nadu: tribal villages inside the Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve, sanitary-worker families from Dalit and Arunthathiyar communities, and migrant workers in the Tirupur-Erode textile belt. Registered in 2001, it pairs education and health access with rights work, from safe-migration support to strengthening POSH Act compliance in industry.
