Humane World for Animals India Foundation is the India-registered (80G) affiliate of the global animal-protection group Humane Society International, rebranded from 'Humane Society International/India' in February 2025. Its India programmes cover street-dog population management through sterilisation and vaccination, ending the dog-meat trade in the North-East, human-wildlife coexistence, disaster response and animal rescue, campaigning against animal testing in cosmetics and other products, and promoting plant-based food systems through its EatKind initiative. It also trains law-enforcement officials and advocates on animal-protection law.
