GHAR, set up by the Sant Ishwar Foundation, houses orphaned and abandoned girls, women with disabilities and senior citizens together in a purpose-built seven-storey home in Pune. The idea is a three-generation joint family under one roof, with quality education and skilling to help the younger residents build independent lives.
