Established in 2004 by trustees K. M. Noordeen and Thahira Noordeen, Alpha Palliative Care has grown into one of India's largest home-based palliative care providers, run from Edamuttam on the Thrissur-Malappuram border in Kerala. Through a hub-and-spoke network of hospices and Alpha Link centres it delivers free 24/7 palliative home care, in-patient care, dialysis and physiotherapy through its Punarjani initiative, with Vision 2030 aiming for a hospice in every Kerala district.
