Founder of Social Activities Integration (SAI)

Vinay M. Vasta is the founder of Social Activities Integration (SAI)[1], an Indian non-profit working on women & children and anti-trafficking from Mumbai.

Social Activities Integration (SAI)

Social Activities Integration works with children of sex workers living in Mumbai's Kamathipura and Falkland Road red-light districts, where they are exposed to disease risk and the threat of physical harm. SAI's programmes aim to give these children a path out of the vulnerable circumstances of their upbringing. Its work is centred specifically on these two red-light areas of the city.

Social Activities Integration (SAI) reports the following, on its own site:

  • 60,000 lives touched since 1991
  • 425 children supported for cancer care
