Sakhi Kendra is a non-profit working on women's empowerment and gender justice, aiming for a society without discrimination and violence in which women build social security, self-esteem and community spirit. Based in Shyam Nagar, Kanpur, it provides direct support services including counselling in cases of violence against women, legal awareness programmes and health check-up camps, alongside advocacy, community mobilisation and good governance work.

- 8,581 cases of violence against women solved with advocates
- 323,753 beneficiaries reached
- 41 International Women's Day celebrations and campaigns since 1980
