National Association of the Deaf, India is a Delhi-based nonprofit launched in December 2005, dedicated to empowering the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community and promoting Indian Sign Language. Run by an executive board of Deaf professionals, it advocates for implementation of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, and runs education-access, employment and women's-empowerment programmes.
