Anuben Thakkar is the founder of Muni Seva Ashram (1978)[1], an Indian non-profit working on healthcare, elderly, orphans & child care and environment from Goraj.

Started by Anuben Thakkar, who moved to Goraj village near Vadodara in 1978, with the trust registered in 1980, Muni Seva Ashram runs the Kailash Cancer Hospital and Research Center, schools, an orphanage, homes for seniors and differently-abled women, and vocational training. Its campus is powered by solar and biogas and hosts one of the world's largest solar concentrator dishes.

Has grown from a small hut in Goraj (Vadodara district, Gujarat) in 1978 to a 300-acre campus today, running schools, an orphanage, retirement homes, a home for mentally challenged women and the Kailash Cancer Hospital & Research Center.
In 2019 it inaugurated a new ward building at Kailash Cancer Hospital with an 82-bed day-care chemotherapy unit and an 8-patient bone marrow transplant (BMT) unit.
Its Sharda Mandir primary school educates 250 students.
