Founder

Anila Mathur is the founder of Youth4Jobs Foundation [1], an Indian non-profit working on disability and livelihood from Hyderabad.

Anila Mathur is a co-founder of the Youth4Jobs Foundation, an Indian organisation that trains and places young people with disabilities in employment. She serves as its vice-president and sits on its board of directors.

Youth4Jobs was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The organisation's own website lists Meera Shenoy as founder and Anila Mathur as co-founder.

Career

Before helping to establish Youth4Jobs, Mathur worked as a manager at the Employment Generation and Marketing Mission of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, and earlier at the A.P. Mahesh Co-operative Urban Bank.

Youth4Jobs runs vocational training and placement programmes for young people with disabilities across India, works with colleges and employers to change hiring practices, and operates SwarajAbility, an accessible jobs platform for persons with disabilities developed with the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, IIT Hyderabad, the CII India Business and Disability Network, NIMHANS and Kotak Mahindra Bank.[2][3][4]
