Founded in 1992 by consultant psychiatrist Dr. C. Ramasubramanian, M.S. Chellamuthu Trust and Research Foundation is one of south Tamil Nadu's leading mental health organizations. It runs psychiatric rehabilitation centres, special schools, de-addiction services, the Speak2Us mental health helpline, vocational training and supported employment — including a restaurant staffed by persons with disabilities — alongside research and academic training empanelled with TISS's National CSR Hub.
