Uttarakhand Seva Nidhi is a public charitable trust founded in 1967 and based in Almora, Kumaon. It has worked with village communities in Uttarakhand since 1987, when it was appointed a nodal agency by the Ministry of Human Resource Development to run environmental education programmes. Its environmental education centre works with schools and rural communities across the Kumaon hills.
