The Resilient Foundation trains rural and marginalised communities in coastal Maharashtra to identify risks and act as first responders when disaster strikes. Registered in 2018 and based at Vangaon, it works on prevention and preparedness — including building disaster-resilient schools — and was named among India's top ten startups for innovation in disaster risk reduction at the 2022 Sarthi Awards.
