Shree Krishnayan Desi Gauraksha
Haridwar gaushala protecting desi cows, feeding the needy and sharing Vedic care
AnimalsFaith-Based Service
Shree Krishnayan Desi Gauraksha began in Haridwar in 2010 with eleven cows and has grown into a sanctuary for over 30,000 rescued desi cows and bulls across several states, where milk is freely offered rather than sold. The gaushala pairs lifelong cow care and medical help with anndan food distribution for the hungry, and sustains itself through cow adoption, seva bookings and Vedic yagya and pooja services.
