Prajayatna, registered as a society in 2008, works for systemic change in India's public education system by building an ecosystem around it rather than running parallel schools. It works with teachers, parents, communities, School Management Committees, local government bodies and the education bureaucracy to strengthen anganwadis and early childhood education, transform government schools through its Kalikayatna programme, and include children with disabilities.
