PARC was set up in 2005 by BITS Pilani alumni through the BITSAA Alumni Trust to improve life in the communities around Pilani, Rajasthan. Its work is organised into four strands — livelihood, health, education and community — spanning skill training, job creation and women's empowerment, with current BITS students contributing through a dedicated student team.
