Started on 5 September 2005 in Bhopal, Parvarish – The Museum School buses non-school-going children from slums to the city's museums, using exhibits as living classrooms until they can join mainstream schools. The UNESCO Asia-Pacific Education Innovation Award-winning model has been replicated with museum partners and has groomed thousands of first-generation learners.
