The Happy Plant Project is a grassroots tree-planting movement working toward a goal of one million trees, aiming to restore biodiversity and rebuild habitat for birds, bees and other species. Since 2021 it says it has planted over 300,000 native trees across 13 Indian states with the help of more than 10,000 volunteers, including school children and teachers. It is based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
