Working in Chennai since 2003, Myrtle runs a shelter home for urban homeless women, a railway childline that protects children found on station platforms, and comprehensive support for children with cancer and their families. Its other programmes cover tribal children's education, sponsorships and skill training, often in partnership with government departments and UN agencies.
