Kalap Trust works with communities in the upper Tons Valley of Mori Tehsil, Uttarkashi — a region reachable only on foot. It began with an after-school programme in Kalap village in 2015, added livestock-based livelihood work, and in 2017 set up what it describes as the valley's first fully-equipped primary healthcare centre.
