Vishranthi Charitable Trust

Started in 1978 by Savithri Vaithi with a single destitute inmate, Vishranthi grew into Chennai's pioneering free old-age home for abandoned and destitute women, caring for over a hundred 'grandmothers' at its Palavakkam campus with food, shelter, nursing and a dignified final journey.

  • Caters to the physical, psychological and emotional needs of 140+ women at its Old Age Home in Palavakkam
