Nityaasha Foundation

Nityaasha Foundation supports underprivileged children and young people living with Type 1 diabetes, for whom care means bearing a lifelong financial burden that many families cannot meet. Registered in Kalyani Nagar, Pune, and working with associated doctors including paediatric endocrinologists, it provides insulin and supplies, monitors each child's condition and educates families, selecting beneficiaries through a defined process.

Nityaasha Foundation reports the following, on its own site:

• 325 children with Type 1 Diabetes registered (till 2024)
• 20,354 follow-up calls made
• 7,295 centre visits
• 1,287 home visits
