Munusamy Raviraaj is the founder and director; co-founder (managing trustee) of Kalanjiyam Trust (2006)[1], an Indian non-profit working on education, healthcare and livelihood from Chennai.

Kalanjiyam Trust works with rural communities in Tamil Nadu's Chengalpattu district, following a participatory model that trains young men and women from local villages as development workers. Its programmes cover education, health and hygiene, skills and livelihoods, and relief and rehabilitation, with newer initiatives including the Thalir Academy youth skill centre and Project Vanavil on youth mental health.
