Healing Fields Foundation

Healing Fields Foundation, founded by Ashoka Fellow Mukti Bosco in 2000, trains rural women as Community Health Entrepreneurs who deliver basic health education, first aid and telehealth referrals within their own villages. The model pairs healthcare access with a livelihood for the women who deliver it, and now reaches several thousand villages across multiple states.
