MRS. JANKI VASANT is the founder of Samvedana Trust (2003)[1], an Indian non-profit working on healthcare, education and livelihood from Ahmedabad.

Samvedana Trust, registered in Ahmedabad in 2003, works with economically weaker families on nutrition, education and skill building, treating the family rather than the individual as the unit of change. Starting with thirty children, it has grown into sustained community interventions including its Vasant Paathshala education programme.
